4 Magdalen Place, Dundee

4 Magdalen Place is a villa built around 1860, featuring two stories and three bays, with simple Italianate detailing. The exterior is made of coursed rubble with painted ashlar dressings. It has an arched entrance with pilasters located in an attached side porch, which has bracketted eaves and a piended roof that fronts a single-storey office wing. The front of the villa has three bays, with windows set in architraves that have corbelled cills. On the ground floor, there are cornices, and a balcony is positioned at the center of the first floor, although the cast-iron brattishing has been removed. The villa also features bracketted eaves, wallhead stacks, and a piended slate roof, along with low boundary walls.
