Description
Magdalen House, located at 1 and 1A Magdalen Place in Dundee, is a villa built around 1850. It is two stories high and has three bays, constructed from coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. The south elevation features a central doorpiece with Doric columns and a cornice. The ground floor windows have cornices and architraves, while the first floor windows include a cill band and margins. The building has a main cornice and a blocking course, and the west elevation has four bays. It is topped with a piended slate roof and has gable-end stacks. The windows are sash and case style with horizontal astragals. Additionally, there is a boundary wall and square gatepiers.
