Description
This is a circa 1840 house of two storeys and a basement, located at 48A Roseangle, Dundee, and including its garden walls. The front facade is of painted ashlar, while the sides and rear are constructed of rubble. The house exhibits good quality ironwork throughout.
The front elevation is three bays wide, with a consoled and corniced doorway approached by steps. An ornamental wrought-iron lamp bracket and brackets to the guttering are present. The windows are sash and case with a two-pane glazing pattern and are set within margins.
The south elevation rises to three storeys, featuring canted end bays and a central ground floor entrance. The side elevations are blank. Prominent gable-end stacks rise from the slate roof.
Ornamental wrought-iron railings with flower finials enhance the property.
