Description
Noran Leigh, located at 6 Pearse Street in Brechin, is a building dated 1880, as noted on the rainwater head. It is a single-storey structure with an attic, constructed of coursed rubble. The entrance features a central panelled door set within a bracketed pediment doorpiece. To the left, there is a shallow rectangular bipartite bay with a columnar mullion that has a sculptured capital, along with a pedimented timber dormer above that shares a similar design, and a panelled stone apron. On the right side, there is a canted three-light bay that rises into a dormer. The building is topped with a gabled slated roof, which has straight skews and finials on the dormers. The flanks are also made of rubble, and there are corniced stacks present.
