Description
The building at 34, 36, 38 Main Street in Dalry dates from 1870, as indicated on the rainwater head. It is a two-storey structure with an attic and features three bays. The ground floor is constructed of ashlar stone, which has been painted. A central door is topped by a bracketed modillion cornice leading to a pediment, with a door and shop window on either side. There is a continuous cornice above the ground floor. The first floor contains three four-pane windows that are angled at right angles, along with a narrow window. A dentilled cornice runs above this level, and there is a central canted dormer. The roof is slate and has a piended design on the right side.
