Pearse Croft, 8 Pearse Street, Brechin

Pearse Croft, located at 8 Pearse Street in Brechin, is an 18th-century building. It is two stories high and features three windows, with a harled exterior and painted margins. The gable faces the street, and there is a central panelled door set in a cavetto splay. The central wallhead gable has been truncated, and the square chimney shaft has been removed. The windows on the ground and first floors of the west gable are asymmetrically placed. The building has a slated roof with straight skews and Victorian bracketted eaves, while the end stacks have been rebuilt in brick. The windows have been reglazed. Additionally, there is a rubble garden wall with two square ashlar gatepiers that have corniced caps.
