Douglas, 6 Burnett Street, Auchenblae

Douglas, located at 6 Burnett Street in Auchenblae, is an early 19th-century building. It is two stories high with an attic, constructed from pinned ashlar stone featuring thin margins and contrasting dressings. The front facade has three windows and includes a later addition of a central timber porch with a crenellated parapet and mullioned and transomed glazing. There are two bowed dormers on the roof, and the ground and first floor windows are situated in the northeast gable. The rear of the building has an outshot with 12-pane sash windows. The roof is slated with straight skews, and the end stacks have been rebuilt in brick. Additionally, there is a low rendered garden wall with damaged fleur de lys finialled railings and one gatepier.
