Denmill Cottage, 3 Burnett Street, Auchenblae

Denmill Cottage is an earlier 19th century building featuring a single storey and attic at the front, with two storeys at the back due to the sloping ground. The exterior is made of coursed squared rubble with white mortar joints and stugged dressings. The central door has the name of the cottage carved on the lintel and is topped with a consoled cornice. There are two windows at the front, each with 12-pane sash designs. The cottage also has two bowed tripartite dormers, with the centre lights having 4-pane sashes. The rear of the building has two storeys and an attic, with three windows on both the ground and first floors, as well as one dormer. The roof is slated, featuring straight skews with end blocks and brick stacks at the ends.
