Description
Den Mill is a 19th-century building located on Burnett Street in Auchenblae. It is a two-storey structure built of rubble, positioned at right angles to the road. At the east roadside end, there is a kiln featuring a tall square vent typical of distilleries. The roofs have a piended design with straight skew at the kiln. The kiln has been partly gutted, and a garage has been inserted into its lower part. At the west end, there is an 8-spoke wood and iron overshot wheel, which has a diameter of 11 feet and a width of 4 feet 4 inches. The roofs are in poor condition, and there is a corrugated iron lean-to along the north side of the building.
