Description
Beach Villa, located at 5 Burnett Street in Auchenblae, is an early 19th century building. It is two stories tall and constructed from pinned squared rubble with ashlar dressings. The front features three windows and a central stone porch that has a cornice, blocking course, and a simple opening with a panelled door and a rectilinear fanlight. The roof is slated with straight skews and end blocks, and the end stacks have been rebuilt in brick. There are doors and windows on the northeast gable, and ground and first floor windows on the southwest gable, featuring 12-pane sash windows. The property is complemented by a low garden wall with elaborately finialed railings.
