Clydesdale Bank, Monboddo Street, Auchenblae

The Clydesdale Bank on Monboddo Street in Auchenblae was built in the 1840s. This two-storey building features pinned coursers with dressings that are two courses deep, and has chamfered openings. The design is asymmetrical, with a two-window section on the left side and a single-storey ashlar porch that has a parapet. The porch includes an arched panel displaying a coat of arms and two ball finials. To the right, there is a projecting gable with one window on each floor and a spike finial.

The west elevation has one window and two first-floor windows, along with ground and first-floor windows in the projecting gable. The east elevation includes a door, three ground-floor windows, and two first-floor windows. The north gable features ground and first-floor windows with lying pane glazing. The roofs are slated and topped with ball and spike finials, as well as coped skews. Additionally, there is a low garden wall with railings and four square ashlar gatepiers that have cornices.
