Surgery, Kintore Street, Auchenblae

The building is a large two-storey surgery located on Kintore Street in Auchenblae, dating from the mid-19th century. It features coursed stonework with raised margins and corbelled cills. The structure is U-shaped, with the northern wing being longer than the southern wing. The gable facing the street has a double-leaf panelled door framed by inset pilasters and topped with a rectangular fanlight. There is a shop window and a two-light window on the first floor, along with a narrow attic light above.

On the south side of the northern wing, there are bipartite windows to the left, with a door and window above on the right. The central recessed section has three windows, with a door on the right, and the outer ground floor openings are keyblocked. The gable front of the southern wing features bipartite windows and a louvred attic slit.

The building includes 8-pane and 12-pane sash windows, with ground and two first-floor windows on the southeast elevation. The rear elevation has three bays with a projecting one-bay gable. The roofs are slated with straight skews. The front garden is enclosed by a retaining wall and original railings. There are small offices that have been converted into a double garage, which includes a dormer and a slate roof.
