Description

This building is a house and surgery dating from the early to mid-19th century. It features painted channelled stucco and a slate roof, standing two storeys high with attics. The west side has three windows, which are recessed 6/6-pane sashes, and a central door with three panels; the top panel is glazed, and the centre square panel has circular beading for the knocker. The entrance is framed by a wooden Greek Doric porch that includes a cornice hood and two slender columns with reeded capitals. The eaves are supported by paired brackets, and the south elevation has Tudor hood moulds. There is a modern extension to the northeast.
