Description
The White Hart is a public house dating from the mid-18th century, with an early 18th-century rear wing and possibly some earlier timber framing. It is constructed of red brick featuring vitrified headers, with some areas roughcast. The roof is a steep mansard covered with modern and old red tiles. The building has two storeys and a four-window front that showcases restored brickwork and a modern parapet. Notable architectural features include recessed sash windows and a wooden Roman Doric porch, which has a fluted frieze, a dentilled cornice, and a tiled pediment. The rear wing includes a floor band and modern casement windows, along with a central gabled projection at the rear that features an 18th-century upper floor sash window.
