Description

The White House is a house dating from the early 19th century, featuring a plastered front. The west side has a timber frame that dates back to the 16th or 17th century. The building has both old tile and machine tile roofs. The main three-window block has a central square projecting first-floor bay supported by a thin Doric porch with square wooden piers. The windows are flush sashes set in architrave frames. The eaves are raised above a plain cornice band. There is a two-window square projecting extension to the east from the 19th or 20th century with a flat roof, and a one-window block to the west that includes both flush casement and sash windows.
