Description
This building, known as No. 41 (Surgery), is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It features a plastered front that conceals an earlier timber-framed structure. The roof is covered with machine-made tiles, and there is a higher cross wing on the northern side at the rear. The house has two storeys and includes three sash windows with architrave surrounds, with the central first-floor window having a semicircular head. The entrance features a part-glazed door also set within an architrave surround, topped by a raised carved plaque supported by scrolled brackets and a pediment hood. Inside, there is a coved cornice. A modern extension has been added to the northern front of the building.
