Description
No. 29 High Street is a house that features an early 19th-century front, likely added to an earlier timber-framed structure. The exterior is roughcast with an old tile hipped roof and it has two storeys. The front displays three flush sash windows, each framed with architrave surrounds. A semi-circular porch supported by thin wooden columns on cement piers leads to the entrance, which has a mutuled cornice and a door topped with a segmental fanlight. On the first floor, there is a French window. The building has a one-window block that is set back on the west side, featuring a large chimney stack at the junction and another sash window on the first floor. The street-facing side includes a modern shop window.
