Description

No. 5 Swan Hill is a house that features a late 18th-century refronting of an earlier structure. It is built of brick over what may be a timber frame, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a four-window range. To the right, there is a doorway with a side-light, framed by an architrave that includes console brackets supporting an entablature. To the left of the doorway, there is a tripartite sash window with a segmental brick head. On the first floor, there are four low six-pane sash windows, each with flat-arched painted stone heads. The building is finished with a simple cornice at the parapet.
