Description

No. 1 Cross Hill is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is three stories high and features a three-window range. The central entrance has a six-panelled door with an overlight and a keystone, all set within a moulded architrave. The flanking ground floor windows are four-pane sashes located in round-arched recesses. The upper windows are also four-pane sashes, but they have flat-arched gauged brick heads. The building has a moulded stone eaves cornice and an axial stack. It has a rounded corner with Swan Hill, creating a continuous structure with No. 22 Swan Hill.
