Description
No. 4 Swan Hill is a house that was likely originally built in the 17th century but was refronted in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick, possibly over a timber frame, and features a plain-tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a four-window range, with outer doorways framed by moulded architraves that have console brackets supporting an entablature. To the left of the main doorway, there is a wide three-light casement window, and to the right, a smaller two-light casement window, both of which have segmentally-arched brick heads. The upper windows are low six-pane sashes with flat-arched painted stone heads, although one window is blind. The building also has a simple eaves cornice leading to a parapet and features axial stacks.
