Description

Swan Hill House is a late 18th-century house that is currently used as a nursing home. It is constructed of brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building is two stories high and has a five-window range, with a pediment above the central bay. The doorway is located to the left of the center and is set in a projecting case adorned with Tuscan pilasters that support an entablature. The entrance includes a six-panelled door topped by a traceried fanlight. The windows are 12-pane sashes with flat-arched, finely gauged brick heads, with the area above the doorway and to the right of the central bay being blind. A moulded eaves cornice runs continuously across the pediment.
