Description
Longridge House is a house that has been converted into a nursing home. It was built in the late 18th century and has undergone some alterations and an addition since then. The building is made of red brick and features a plain tile roof with a brick integral end stack. It has a T-shaped layout, with the main section running north-south and facing west, while the rear wing runs east-west. There is a late 19th-century conservatory attached to the south end of the main range. The house stands three storeys tall and has three windows, which are glazing bar sashes with wedge lintels. The ground floor windows are tripartite. The central entrance door is topped by a small-pane rectangular overlight and is framed by a pilastered doorcase with a cornice hood.
