Description

No. 17 High Street is a late 18th century brick house that incorporates an earlier structure. It is three storeys tall and has a plain tile roof with a brick eaves cornice. The building features one range of windows and has an early 19th century projecting ground floor that is plastered. The entrance consists of a six-panel door topped with a fanlight. On the first floor, there is a wooden three-sided bay window with 19th century sash windows and a moulded cornice. The second floor has a flat arched opening with a fluted keystone. The rear gable is rendered and includes a large brick angle stack.
