Description
The building is a house with an attached surgery, dating from the 18th century. It features a timber-framed structure, with the surgery being plastered and the house faced with red brick. Both sections have red plain tiled roofs, with the surgery having a lower hipped roof on the left side. There are two red brick chimney stacks located externally on the left and right sides. The surgery is two stories tall, while the house has two stories and attics.
The surgery includes a small paned bowed shop window to the left of a half-glazed door, with a fascia and cornice above it, and a pierced ventilator to the right of the door. An extending canopy is present above the fascia. The house has a three-window range of small paned vertically sliding sash windows, all featuring gauged brick arches, except for the central first-floor window, which has a round head. The entrance has a central two-panel four-light door with a painted rayed head above it. This is complemented by a moulded open pediment supported by Ionic columns, and there is a stepped approach to the entrance.
