Description

No. 34 on West Street is an 18th-century house built of red brick with a red plain tiled roof featuring three hipped dormers and parapet verges. It has two storeys and attics, with a seven-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes that have segmental heads. There are cast iron balconies on the two far right first floor windows. The entrance is off centre to the right, featuring a four-panelled door with reveal panels, flanked by Doric columns, and topped with a triglyph frieze and dentilled soffits to the pediment. Access to the door is via a stepped approach.
