Description
R.H. Facey and Lang, Solicitors is a house from the 18th century that is now used as offices. It features red brick construction with plaster on the first floor's central bays and has 20th-century tiles. The building is three stories tall and has a right red brick chimney stack. On the second floor, there are two vertically sliding sash windows with horns. A moulded and dentilled band runs across the full width above the first floor. The first and ground floors each have large bow windows; the bow window on the first floor has three light small paned vertically sliding sashes, while the ground floor has small paned shop windows with a moulded cornice and soffit above a continuous fascia. The central doorway is flanked by fluted pilasters and features a frieze with patera and reveal panels, with half-glazed doors that have lower panels. To the left is a round-headed doorway with a 20th-century half-glazed door.
