Description

Renoufs Restaurant is a shop located on South Street in Rochford, dating from the 19th century. The building is constructed of painted brick and features a red tiled roof that is hipped towards the road. It stands three storeys tall, with a small second floor and a larger first floor. The windows on these floors are small paned vertically sliding sash windows, flanked by side pilasters that have bases and are topped with brackets supporting moulded cornices. The shop front also includes similar pilasters and a dentilled cornice that encloses a fascia. To the left of the shop front is a four-panelled door, while to the right is a three-light window, each with a segmental head and mullions that have capitals.
