Description
Roche House is a house that has been converted into offices. It dates from the 18th century and has undergone restorations in the 20th century. The building is constructed of red brick and features a red plain tiled roof, with chimney stacks made of red brick on both the left and right sides. There is a two-bay extension on the right. The house is two storeys high with attics and has two segmental-headed dormers. A parapet runs along the top.
On the first floor, there are five small-paned vertically sliding sash windows with gauged brick arches, arranged in a 5:2 pattern. The ground floor features four vertically sliding sash windows with horns. The doorway is centrally located in the original part of the building and consists of a six-panelled door with reveals, a moulded surround that includes a stepped keystone, and a moulded and dentilled open pediment supported by brackets. To the right of the extension, there is a carriageway with moulded jambs and a lintel. The building is included for its group value.
