Description

Middle Watch House is a dwelling and shop dating from the 19th century. It is constructed of brick, with a concrete tile roof. The building is three storeys high and has three windows on its front elevation. The ground floor features a 19th-century shop front framed by brick pilasters with stone moulded bases, capitals, and a cornice. The shop front contains a six-panel door, with four glazed panels. The first and second floors have sash windows with glazing bars, each set beneath a stepped voussoir head with a projecting keystone. A central blind oculus is present on the first floor, surrounded by a moulded frame.
