Description

Clifford House is a mid-19th century dwelling located on the east side of High Street in Newnham. The building has a rendered exterior up to the parapet and is topped with a Welsh slate roof. It features a narrow frontage and is a lofty property with a ground floor that has a rusticated appearance, complemented by two string courses and a parapet cornice. The house is three storeys high and has two windows, all of which are sash windows with glazing bars and moulded architraves at the first-floor level. The entrance includes a six-panel door with a transom light above that also has glazing bars. At the rear, there is a tall sash window with an arched head that serves the staircase.
