Description
Wilcox House is a dwelling dating from the early 18th century. It features rough rendering and a Welsh slate roof. The main block is slightly set back from the pavement, while a wing on the right is brought forward. The building has two storeys and three windows, plus one in the projecting wing. There are two three-light sash windows without bars, with flat stone mullions and surrounds, and rudimentary drip moulds, located on either side of a 20th-century porch that has a segmental hood and a 20th-century door. To the right, there is a small sash window and a six-panel door with a segmental hood supported by slender wooden Tuscan columns, along with one sash window with bars at the right end. The first-floor sashes have glazing bars in broad surrounds, and there is also one small sash window on the return wall to the right.
