Description

White House is a dwelling, now used as an office, with a 19th-century facade but a 17th-century core. The building is constructed of painted brick and has a concrete tile roof. Originally part of a larger property, it is now divided, and is associated with ‘The Limes’. A large chimney stack is located on the left-hand side. The house has two storeys and features a two-window front with modern casement windows and a new door with a hood. The interior reveals an exposed timber frame in the spine wall, including a two-light mullioned window with diagonally-set bars.
