Description

A large dwelling, now offices, was built in the late 18th century. The building has a rough render finish, a modillion eaves cornice, and a hipped roof covered with Welsh slate, featuring a flat crown and a cast iron railing. It includes an adjacent unit known as 'The Annex'. The main house has three tall storeys and three widely spaced windows, all of which are sash windows without bars. On the ground floor, there is one large sash window plus a canted bay. The first-floor sashes are unusually large and horizontal; the wall space above the second-floor sashes is also unusually wide, extending to the cornice level. A late 19th-century door is sheltered by a slated porch hood supported by wooden brackets. To the right is a smaller two-storey unit with three windows and a fine, dentilled eaves cornice from the 18th century, to which a 19th-century porch has been added. There is a large, modern projection to the rear of the building.
