It is constructed from local limestone rubble with rough quoins and features a thatched roof with brick end stacks, giving it a picturesque appearance. The cottage is one storey and has an attic, comprising two bays. The ground floor has 20th-century casement windows, while the gable features a three-light ovolo moulded stone mullioned window. The door opening is nearly central and contains a 19th-century plank door. There is also a single-storey pent-roofed outshut on the right side.
