Description

Ivy Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located at Woodlands End in Mells. It is built from Doulting rubble with squared quoins and features a thatched roof. The cottage has a rectangular and picturesque shape, standing two stories high with two bays. Most of the windows are casements, except for the left opening on the ground floor, which has a three-light ovolo moulded stone mullioned window with a stopped label. The central door opening is framed by a 20th-century gabled wooden porch with a glazed door. There is also a 20th-century pent roofed outshut of a single bay to the right.
