Description

Garston House is a cottage dating from the 17th century, constructed of limewashed Doulting rubble with thatched roofs and uneven eaves height. The facade is nearly symmetrical and features a cross passage plan. The building is one storey with an attic and has two bays. On the left side, there are 19th-century casement windows, while the right side has ovolo moulded stone mullioned windows with two and three lights; the upper windows are set beneath eyebrow arches. The central door opening contains a mid-19th-century four-panelled door, topped by a flat wooden hood supported on moulded stone brackets.
