Description
The gate piers and flanking walls to the Old Rectory date from around 1800 and are made of rusticated Doulting ashlar. They feature moulded pyramidal cappings. The Doulting rubble wall is 2 metres high with flat coping and extends 20 metres to the south, incorporating a door opening framed in a Gibbs surround, which contains a 19th-century three-panelled door. There is an additional section of rubble wall, also 2 metres high with coping, extending 140 metres to the north. These structures have group value with The Old Rectory.
