Description

Rectory Cottages is a row of cottages dating from the 17th century, with later alterations. They are constructed from Doulting rubble and feature tile roofs, along with three brick stacks and one rubble stack. The facades are irregular, and the cottages are two stories high, each with one bay. Number 2 projects in a gabled wing. Most windows are casements, except for the first floor of numbers one and two, which have two and three-light ovolo moulded stone mullioned windows with leaded lights. The doors are plank style in plain surrounds, except for number one, which has a moulded door. Numbers three and four have wooden semi-circular hoods supported by brackets.
