Description

Orchard Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located in Saintbury. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone, with a limestone slate roof and ashlar gable end stacks featuring moulded tops and skirtings. The cottage has a 2-room plan and two storeys, with a two-window front. It contains 2-light and 3-light stone mullioned casement windows, one with ovolo moulding, and the others with flat chamfers. The ground floor windows have stopped hoods. A studded, unpainted door is covered by a 19th-century wood hood.
