Description

Saintbury Cross, located by the A46 opposite Vale Farm, is a cross dating from the 14th century. It features a shaft and the uppermost step from this period, while the lower steps are likely of a later date. The cross is topped with a sundial and an additional cross. It is surrounded by a square base consisting of four steps leading up to an octagonal shaft, which has a moulded octagonal top.
