Description
The roadside grotto, located 20 metres northeast of the Lock-Up, dates from around 1800. It is primarily constructed of Tufa and features an irregular picturesque arch with piers. The grotto opens onto a recess that is similarly faced and once included a drinking trough, which has since been removed. This structure is included in the listing mainly for its group value.
