Description

HILMARTON LITTLECOTE SU 07 NW 6/260 Upper Littlecote Farmhouse II Farmhouse, mid C18, roughcast rubble stone with ashlar dressings, stone slate roofs, partly replaced in imitation stone slates, and end stacks. Two storeys and attic, originally L-plan with long cross wing added across east end. Main range has two hipped dormers and three window range of flush stone mullion windows, three-light each side, 2-light to centre over door in flush chamfered surround. String course. C19 ashlar gabled porch with Tudor-arched entry, hoodmould with head stops and carved finial. Cross wing has west side dormer, first floor C20 window and ground floor 16-pane sash, south end coped gable and stack and half hipped north gable. Main range has C18 rear wing, apparently added, in ironstone rubble with casement windows to north end gable.
