Description

Preston Cottage is a small cottage dating from the 18th to 19th century, constructed of colourwashed rubble stonework with a thatched hipped roof. It features a gable stack and an entry. The cottage consists of one cell, which is subdivided by a partition, and is single storey with an attic. There are late 20th century extensions at both ends. The elevation is simple, with small casement windows. This building is a good example of a basic peasant dwelling.
