Description
Tree Cottage is a cottage dating from around the 18th century. It is built of colour washed stone rubble and cob, topped with a thatched roof featuring gabled and hipped ends and eyebrow eaves. The cottage has two storeys and a three-window range. On the ground floor, there are three-light casements with glazing bars, while the first floor features two-light casements with glazing bars; two of these on the right have triangular heads with triangular and diamond lights. The entrance is a flush panel door located at the centre, with glazed top panels and a thatched hood above. There is a rendered chimney stack at the north gable end and a brick stack at the opposite end.
