Description
Sandridge Boathouse is a boathouse with a room above, located on the former Sandridge Park overlooking the River Dart. It was built around the mid-19th century and features a picturesque rustic design. The structure is made of stone rubble and has a cedar shingle roof, which was probably originally thatched. The gabled end facing the river has oversailing eaves and is supported by rustic brackets, with a wooden balustrade on the first floor above the boathouse, which is at beach level. The building has two storeys and an attic, with an attic casement in the gabled end. There is a stone rubble chimney stack on the side and at the rear gable.
