Description

Springhayes is a cottage dating from the 18th century, constructed of stone rubble with a thatched roof featuring gabled ends. The building stands two storeys high and has a three-window range. The first floor windows are three-light casements with leaded panes. A central glazed door is flanked by a modern thatched and glazed porch. Brick chimney stacks are located at both gable ends. There is also a modern single-storey lean-to added at the east end.
