Description

Eggmoor Cottage and Tudor Cottage is a house that has been divided into two cottages, dating from the 16th or 17th century. It features a long range of stone rubble, with some cob plastered on the west side. The building has a steeply pitched roof made of corrugated asbestos, with gabled ends, and stands two storeys high. There are five windows, including a small modern casement from the mid-19th century. The centre of the building projects slightly and has a gabled feature. To the left, there is a modern wooden porch in the angle. Brick chimney stacks are located at the gable ends. Tudor Cottage has its entrance at the rear on the west side. Inside Eggmoor Cottage, there is a chamfered ceiling beam and a moulded fireplace bressummer.
