Description

This is an 18th-century cottage range that formerly included shop premises. It is built of colourwashed stone rubble with a thatched roof, the left-hand (south-east) end of which is covered in corrugated iron. The building has two storeys and a long, three-window front. The first floor has two-light casement windows, two of which have leaded panes. On the ground floor are two plank doors to the left and right, and a shopfront from the early 19th century in the centre. The shopfront has a flat-windowed display with glazing bars and an entablature, and a doorway to the left with a narrow, rectangular fanlight. Brick chimney stacks rise above the gable ends.
