Description

Rose Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of roughcast stone rubble and features a thatched roof with gabled ends. The building has two storeys and a two-window range. The windows are 19th-century three-light casements with glazing bars. There is a central plank door that is sheltered by a wooden gabled porch, which dates from the late 19th to early 20th century. A brick chimney stack is located at the right-hand side, and there is a single-storey lean-to at the left-hand (north) gable end. The cottage is included for its group value.
