Description

The Shrubs is a cottage dating from around the 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble with a roughcast front and features a pantile roof with gabled ends. The building has two storeys and a two-window range, with two and three light casements that include glazing bars. There is a doorway to the left of the centre, which has a plank door and is sheltered by a corrugated iron hood. A rebuilt brick chimney stack is located on the right-hand (north) gable end. At the rear, there is an outshut with a catslide roof.
